Hi, my name is Akhona!

I am highly interested in understanding what children need and how they can improve their developmental capacities and reach desired goals.

I find working with children and creating a fun, safe environment for them to be a rewarding experience. Contributing to their learning and development is especially fulfilling, as it shows progress achieved in a playful setting where they are always encouraged to express themselves fully.

I obtained a BA degree in 2020, majoring in Psychology, Philosophy, and Sociology.

In 2021, I completed my BA Honours in Psychology and have worked as a tutor in both Psychology and Philosophy.

In 2023, I started training and working as an ABA tutor.

The internship gave me experience in working with neurodiverse children. I now provide Individualized Learning and Behavioural Support for neurodiverse children.
